Our Day City Tour is packed full of great Berlin sites and fascinating stories and anecdotes delivered by our fun and engaging guides. We like to think this is one of the best tours in town as we have been perfecting it for more than ten years! If this is your first time in Berlin this tour is a great way to kick things off as we will cover all of Berlin’s must-see sites and introduce you to more than 800 years of the city’s history. If you’ve been to Berlin before we think you will still enjoy this tour and be impressed by how much more you can learn from our guides. It’s comprehensive and fun, and our guides make sure that you have a great time while touring at an easy pace. There is plenty of time for taking pictures, asking questions, and even a great break at one of our favorite beer gardens!
Themes discussed during the tour: Berlin’s founding, Prussian Berlin, The rise of Hitler and the Nazi years, wartime Berlin, post-war Berlin and the division of Germany, and the rise and fall of the Berlin Wall.

Reservations are recommended, but not required. We suggest that you book in advance so that you are guaranteed a spot on the tour, and also to help us better plan for the day of your tour. If you do not have a reservation don’t worry, just come on by our shop and we will get you on tour, provided that there is space.
Be sure to bring your camera and some cash for the lunch break. We also recommend that you bring an extra layer of clothing in case it gets chilly during the tour. There are luggage racks on our bikes so you can easily carry some small items with you.
No - the bike is included with the bike tour, so just bring yourself and we will take care of the rest!
Yes, we will make a stop for lunch during the tour. Please remember that the cost of food is not included in the tour price, so make sure to have some cash with you.
Our tours are great options for families and kids are very welcome. We have several types of kids’ bikes, seats, and helmets to make sure everyone of all sizes is comfortable on tour.
Don’t worry, it’s just like riding a bike! Our tours move at a very comfortable pace so don’t worry if you are a bit rusty. If you are worried about being comfortable on the bike, feel free to stop by the shop a bit early and you can take a few practice laps.
The tour will still run in case of rain. We try our best to take cover but sometimes we are exposed to the elements. We have pocket-sized rain ponchos for sale in our shop and we highly recommend that you purchase one before tour. If you don’t use it, we will buy it back from you- it’s a bit of a rain insurance policy!
We cannot enter the monuments because German Law restricts museum guides to their authorized officials. Plus, some people would want to spend only ten minutes in the museum while others would prefer 3 hours.
TIP: Should you want to keep your bike longer, and many people do, you get a discount on rental following a tour. Your guide, and our shop staff, will be happy to show you exactly how to go back to any sites you would like to explore further or visit the interior.
Of course! In fact, our tours make great compliments for each other and you get a substantial discount when you join us for more than one tour. Check out our Package Deals to see all the great combinations of tours you can make.
