Ride into the holiday season with our spectacular Christmas Market Bike Tour! This sensational half-day tour will get you into the festive spirit by leading you through three different Berlin Christmas markets.
With your experienced guide, wander through picturesque markets filled with stalls selling traditional German Christmas food and drink and local artisanal products. Christmas markets have been a part of Berlin’s holiday season for nearly 500 years! You will learn how these markets have changed throughout Berlin and Germany’s history and yet remain a beloved tradition.
Over the three hours of this tour you will have plenty of time to soak up the Christmas spirit. You can snack on traditional Christmas treats, like candied almonds, Stollen, and gingerbread. Or warm up with a Glühwein (hot spiced wine) or a Feuerzangenbowle (mulled wine punch). Maybe you’d like to shop for one-of-a-kind gifts and decorations you can’t find anywhere else. These markets have everything you need to get into the holiday spirit!
Biking is the easiest way to move between the various markets, and as with all of our other tours, our Berlin Christmas Markets Bike Tour travels at a leisurely pace thanks to our comfortable city-cruiser style bicycles. You will have plenty of time to socialize with your guide and the other guests plus snag some awesome photos of Berlin’s Christmas magic.
If you choose, you can remain at the final Christmas market at the tour’s end, or return to our Alexanderplatz shop for some more Glühwein or hot tea. This is the perfect time for our guides to share their favorite addresses for the best restaurants, bars, neighborhoods to visit, or whatever else you’re craving for your time in Berlin.
The half-day nature of this tour will leave you with plenty of time to keep exploring the Christmas Markets on your own and squeeze in all of the other fun activities that Berlin offers. We would love to have you join us for another of our half-day tours, like our Berlin Highlights Bike Tour, which will cover different areas of the city and dive a bit deeper into the history of Berlin. Our tours are a fun dose of holiday cheer that are sure to put you in the Christmas spirit!
