Berlin City Segway Tour

There is nothing quite like gliding through town on a Segway.  You will cover more distance than walking, see all of the main sites, and still have energy to go back and visit a few things on your own!  It’s also the perfect overview of the city, so you will come away from it having a deep appreciation for all things Berlin.

The 800-year story of Berlin is not always straigtforward, but we’re happy to explain it in an easy-to-understand way.

Berlin started as a small fishing village on the river Spree, and we will explore these origins and highlight the landmark events throughout its evolution, all the way to the city’s current global image. From its time as the Prussian capital and its role in the establishment of the German Empire all the way to its place in the Cold War and as the iconic capital of reunited Germany, your guide will explain all of the connections throughout this three-hour ride.

We will begin our ride at the charming Museum Island before stopping by the oldest university in Berlin.  As we glide through the city’s old French Quarter, we will cruise to Checkpoint Charlie and see one of the last standing sections of the Berlin Wall. Stopping at the Reichstag, your guide will discuss the rise of Hitler and the Nazis and give you some background on this volatile time in German history. Finally, we will ride through the famous Brandenburg Gate for a photo opportunity unlike any other, all before returning to our starting point, located just beneath the TV Tower in Alexanderplatz.

At each stop, you can ask questions and get to know your guide and your group.  Your guide will happily act as your personal photographer throughout the tour and share with you their favorite spots for traditional German food, beer, and the best museums to visit depending on how much time you have in the city.  We want you to love Berlin just like us!

Guests of all Segway levels are welcome to join us, from beginners to the pros.  We start all of our Segway tours with a thorough training session to ensure that each guest has the knowledge they require to ride safely throughout the streets of Berlin. Our goal is always to create safe, fun, and memorable experiences that you won’t forget!
