Visit Millennium Park & See "The Bean"

Just down the road from our office is one of Chicago's favorite and newest green spaces. Adjacent to Grant Park, Millenium Park was officially opened to the public in 2004 to celebrate the third millennium. Tourists and locals flock to the park for its lush Lurie Garden, concerts at Jay Pritzker Pavilion, public works of art, and of course to snap a photo with "the Bean".

Situated in the northwest corner of Millenium Park lies the most popular attraction within the park: a massive and shining steel structure which has become a Chicago icon since its completion in 2006. Formally named Cloud Gate, but better known to locals and tourists alike as its beloved nickname "The Bean", this iconic sculpture by Anish Kapoor is a delight for all visitors. Standing close to or directly beneath the structure provides a unique optical illusion and countless photo opportunities!
