Enjoy the limited time only Joseph Conrad Bike Tour of London.

In honour of his 160th birthday, join us for London's only Joseph Conrad Bike Tour, in association with The Polish Cultural Institute in London and The Joseph Conrad Society UK.

Join us for a lighthearted trip into the Heart of Darkness on this Joseph Conrad inspired bike tour. Experience the ‘tranquil dignity’ of the River Thames as we cycle along its Southbank. Your guide will recount Conrad’s early life and how his personal experiences led him to England and to English – the language he only learned in his 20s and yet mastered so well that his stories and style remain relevant a hundred years later.

We will stop for a break at Borough Market (the world’s oldest food market) before crossing Tower Bridge and on to the docks where Conrad boarded many ships on many adventures and enjoy a coffee, included in the cost of your tour. We will visit the location of his first publisher and learn about his first novel and how it profoundly changed his life. Before heading home we will visit his most famous publishers and discuss a little bit of the great man’s personal life and exactly what it is that makes his characters so timeless.

Please note that this tour is exclusively offered on a limited schedule during September 2017.
