We do not have any adult tricycles or bikes with training wheels for adults that may be less confident in their riding ability. Please let us know if you would like one of our tandems, trailers, baby seats, or child bikes in advance that you'd like to reserve either a child seat or trailer.
Important Note: All child bikes use hand brakes, there are no pedal brakes available.
All scheduled tours are in English, but private tours can occasionally be scheduled in other languages, given we have a tour guide who speaks the language of your choice.
Unfortunately, 3.5 hours does not give us enough time to enter any of the sites that we see. Our tours are designed to enjoy the city from a broad perspective, so that's what we're going to do!
For children up to 12 years old or 100lbs (45kg), we have 2 wheeled tandem trailers that attach to the back of an adult bike. The passenger sits on a seat and can pedal or coast. All riders over 100lbs (45kg) must ride their own bicycle. We have various smaller sized mountain bikes for those able to ride on their own.
Minors (those less than 18 years of age) must be accompanied by an adult while on tour.
Unfortunately, due to the risk to both child and mother, pregnant women are not allowed to participate on our bike tours.
Our bike tours operate in groups of 10 people maximum.
Your tour will start promptly at the scheduled time, therefore please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure time in order to complete the necessary paperwork and get fitted for a bike. We do not have the luxury of waiting for guests, or catching them up after the fact.
Please be aware that we have multiple tours departing throughout the day, therefore if you arrive more than 30 minutes early we may still be working with other guests and not quite ready to welcome you properly.
Each member of your party will be required to complete and sign a liability waiver form. Minors under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian to complete their paperwork.
We are on city streets for the majority of the tour.
Our route takes advantage of streets with bike lanes as much as possible but there are times we will need to share the road with other vehicles. For this reason we recommend that all riders are confident enough with their biking skills that traffic will not be a problem. Also younger riders must have enough skill to follow in a single file line behind the guide so they are not in danger of veering into traffic.
