Oxford & C.S. Lewis

Oxford C.S. Lewis Excursion

Wednesday March 7th 2018

Oxford is a beautiful city of stunning architecture, history and culture. You'll find ancient and modern colleges, fascinating museums and galleries, and plenty of parks, gardens and green spaces in which to relax. Plus, the city centre is small enough to cover on foot, and only a few minutes walk from the main rail and coach stations. Oxford is not a campus university, so it is not all located on one site.

One of the oldest universities in the world, Oxford University is still one of the greatest places of higher education in the English-speaking world. Students from hundreds of countries come to its historic colleges to learn, discuss, debate, and prepare for their futures. Students who go on this trip will have the chance to visit a college or two, tour the ancient town of Oxford, and see the sights associated with the Inklings, the famous group of 20th century writers which included C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Charles Williams.
