Spanning nearly two miles in length, D.C's National Mall is home to some of the most moving and inspiring memorials our nation has to offer. This tour allows you the opportunity to get up close and personal to the highlights along this iconic stretch surrounding the Lincoln Memorial Pool and beyond. With nearly 2 miles from one end to the other, the National Mall is just too large to conquer by foot. Our expert tour guides and comfortable bikes allow you to pedal along the wide sidewalks and see so much more than you ever could walking, and without wearing yourself out.
Washington D.C. boasts 160 monuments and memorials across the city, and we’ll get a chance to see the most famous and impressive ones on this tour. We’ll ride through the beautifully landscaped gardens of the mall, stop for photos and stories along the way, and learn about the importance of this space, from protests to picnics and everything in between.
Beyond the National Mall, we’ll also cruise around the Potomac Tidal Basin, where you will have a chance to explore even more impressive sites without all of the crowds. If you’re joining us at the right moment in the spring, get ready for some epic photo ops, as the Cherry Blossoms will be in full bloom. And if not, there’s still plenty to see! We'll cruise to numerous treasures in the National Mall, including the World War II Memorial, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, and even the Washington Monument among many, many more famous and breathtaking sites.
This tour is a great precursor to a trip to the Arlington Cemetery, or a visit to the top of the Washington Monument. Your guide will fill you in on the historical details and relevance of the monuments that we see, and let you in on some fun stories about the founding fathers of America and influential individuals that left their mark on the country. They’ll also give you helpful tips and tricks to continue your D.C. visit after the tour.
