Berlin is a BIG city and sometimes it can be a little overwhelming where to start. So many choices, such little time. Where to eat, where to drink, where to sleep and where to party? I have compiled a list of the best places (according to us!) on where to eat and drink once our tours have finished.
Where To Drink In Charlottenburg
Diener Tattersall
This is a classic old west Berlin bar. This bar is unpretentious, covered in old photographs, it certainly has atmosphere. Surrounded by theaters this place has always attracted a bohemian crowd. Snuggle in a corner, order a schultheiss and Königsberger Klopse (veal meatballs in cream sauce) and feel like a true West Berliner. Don’t expect great service, everything is made to order and the Berliners aren’t famous for their schnauze for nothing!

Juleps New York bar and restaurant
This is possibly Berlin’s only authentic New York cocktail bar. Located near Savingyplatz sbahn station this trendy bar has over 100 drinks on their menu, really friendly (and English speaking) staff and a cool atmosphere. The bar even offers Cuban cigars to accompany your delicious mojito. Go on and indulge!

A – Trane
This is easily Berlins best Jazz club. Open 7 days a week until 2am this place has been playing to large crowds for over 20 years. You must check their listings for certain concerts and be prepared to pay up to 20euro for a show but it is well worth it. My tip is to go on Saturday nights as after midnight it is free and there is an open jam session.

Klo Bar
This place is bizarre! Klo is a slang word for toilet in German and this bar in Charlottenburg really aims to shock, frighten, disgust and entertain you on your night out. If you are looking for an alternative place to drink tonight look no further than this toilet themed bar where the staff will even play tricks on you. The bar is full from floor to ceiling with all kinds of objects you can imagine and quite a few that you cant/don’t want to. You don’t really know where to sit, will probably get wet and will end up drinking out of something you never thought you ever would.
