Good to Know
  • Each bike has an easy-to-use luggage rack, perfect for small bags or extra layers.  Larger bags can be locked up in our shop during the tour.
  • While all guests are welcome, this isn’t necessarily a family-friendly tour. The route will take us down some cobblestone roads in rather dense areas. Additionally, while we will keep the content PG-13, some things that we could potentially see or witness during the tour wouldn’t be kid-friendly. (Berlin at night, what can we say!)
  • We make a refreshment stop at the midway point of the tour. This is not included and it is cash only, so please bring euros if you’d like to purchase a snack.

Questions About our Bikes/Biking in Berlin

Is this tour appropriate for kids?

While all guests are welcome, this isn’t necessarily a family-friendly tour. The route will take us down some cobblestone roads in rather dense areas. Additionally, while we will keep the content PG-13, some things that we could potentially see or witness during the tour wouldn’t be kid-friendly. (Berlin at night, what can we say!)

Do I need to reserve a bike separately?

No – the bike is included with the bike tour, so just bring yourself and we will take care of the rest!

General Tour Questions

Where is the tour meeting point?

This tour meets at our Alexanderplatz shop, located at the base of the giant TV Tower (Fernsehturm). You can find us on the northeast side of the tower between the Alex Café and the entrance to the TV Tower. The address is Panoramastraße 1a, 10178 Berlin.

What do I need to bring with me on tour?

Be sure to bring cash in euros (€10-15) if you’d like to purchase a refreshment during the break. We also recommend that you bring an extra layer of clothing in case it gets chilly during the tour. There are luggage racks on our bikes so you can easily carry some small items with you.

Are reservations required for this tour?

Yes, reservations are required for this tour.

Do we go inside the museums and monuments?

We cannot enter the monuments because German Law restricts museum guides to their authorized officials. Plus, some people would want to spend only ten minutes in the museum while others would prefer 3 hours.

TIP: Should you want to keep your bike longer, and many people do, you get a discount on rental following a tour.  Our staff will be happy to show you exactly how to go back to any sites you would like to explore further or visit the interior.

Is this tour in the dark?

Not usually. During April and September, we may be returning at dusk, but the sun sets pretty late May through August, so it is usually still light out while riding.

What is your cancellation policy?

We’re happy to offer free changes and 100% refund up to 24 hours before tour* Failure to cancel a reservation at least 24 hours prior to scheduled departure may result in forfeited travel funds. Fare difference may apply.
