      Yes, reservations are required for all tours.

    • Expand/Collapse What is your cancellation policy?

      Cancellations & Refunds 

      We are happy to offer free changes and 100% refunds up to 24 hours before tour departure. Failure to cancel a reservation at least 24 hours prior to scheduled depature may result in forfeited travel funds. Fare difference may apply for activity or schedule changes. Activities including tickets or special entrances may require further notice to be eligible for a full refund. Please see below for specific policies.

      Changes & Rescheduling

      We are happy to modify or change your reservation up to one hour before your activity start time without any rescheduling fees. Any changes are subject to availability, and difference in activity prices may apply.

      Within one hour of the activity start time we likely will not be able to rebook or reschedule your booking, however, please contact our customer support staff directly and we will do our best to accommodate you.

      *Special Restrictions & Exceptions

      Please note the following exceptions to our standard cancellation and rebooking policies in Milan:

      • “Fat Tire Approved” activities are operated by partner companies with specific rebooking policies. Please see the “refunds” section of any Fat Tire Approved activity for specific rebooking and rescheduling restrictions. Fat Tire Approved tours can be identified by a red banner towards the top of the tour page.
      • Activities including tickets or special entrances may only be rescheduled for free up to 72 hours in advance. These activities are also only refundable more than 72 hours in advance of the activity start time. Within 72 hours, we will only be able to issue a partial refund or future credit. Those activities include:
        • Milan
          • All Skip-the-Line Duomo Tours
      • Private Tours must be cancelled or rebooked at least 7 days in advance of the activity start time. Reschedulings are subject to availability.

    • Expand/Collapse How early do I need to arrive at the meeting point?

      The tour meeting time is 10-15 minutes prior to the start time for all tours. No refunds or re‐bookings can be provided for late arrivals or no shows after tour commencement or departure.

    • Expand/Collapse What is your weather policy?

      Our tours run rain or shine, and we have rain ponchos available free of cost. We encourage all guests to consult the weather forecast and plan your dress accordingly.

      In the summer months, please prepare for the heat by bringing/wearing adequate sun protection, and staying hydrated. Even if you are accustomed to high temperatures, air-conditioning is not always available.

      Absolutely! We want to help create and capture special memories during your time in Milan.

    • Expand/Collapse Is there a space to store luggage while I'm on tour?

      We do not have bag storage facilities at our Milan office.

      Please note that not all tours meet at our office. Your tour's meeting point can be found on it's tour webpage and in your confirmation email.

    • Expand/Collapse Are tours appropriate for children?

      Absolutely! We have loads of families join us and we're a great family activity. Please note that certain tours have minimum age and/or weight requirements, so be sure to check the details and FAQ on the specific tour you are interested in.

    • Expand/Collapse Can minors come on tour alone?

      For safety reasons, minors (anyone under the age of 18) must be accompanied by an adult on the tour.

    • Expand/Collapse Do I need to print my confirmation email?

      Your confirmation  email contains important information about your tour including its meeting point directions, emergency phone numbers, and other helpful details – but it is not required in order to check-in for your tour. Your tour guide will only need the name on your reservation in order for check-in.

    • Expand/Collapse What languages are your tours in?

      At this time all of our tours are conducted in English. Private Tours can occasionally be arranged in other languages, given we have a tour guide that speaks the language of your choice.

    • Expand/Collapse Is there a weight/age requirement to ride a Segway?

      Yes - all riders must be at least 16 years of ageas required by law in Italy. No exceptions.

      For the riding safety of everyone, guests must weigh at least 100 pounds (45 kilograms), not in excess of 260 pounds (118 kilograms). 

    • Expand/Collapse My child is younger than 16 but has Segway experience. Can they ride?

      Unfortunately, no. There are absolutely no exceptions to the law in Italy which requires all riders be at least 16 years old.

    • Expand/Collapse I've never ridden a Segway before. Are they difficult to ride?

      We’ve found that our guests pick up on how to ride a Segway within the first 10 minutes, but we like to take 20-30 minutes to explain the machines, demonstrate the best riding techniques, and then allow time to practice before heading out to see the sites. We like to ensure that every guest feels 100% confident before beginning the tour.

      While riding a Segway is fairly leisurely, you will be on your feet for the duration of the tour.

    • Expand/Collapse Is a helmet included on Segway tours?

      Yes. All guests are required wear a helmet while on a Segway tour for your safety.

    • Expand/Collapse Is there a minimum number of guests on Segway tours?

      Yes, our tours typically only operate with 2 guests or more. If you are a solo traveler, we encourage you to reach out to our customer service team to check if other guests have booked on the date of your choice.

    • Expand/Collapse If I am pregnant can I join the Segway tour?

      Unfortunately, due to the risk to both child and mother, pregnant women are not allowed to participate on our Segway tours.

      This varies by museum/monument. Please feel free to send a message to our Customer Service team if you have any specific questions about which museums can accommodate a stroller or wheelchair.

    • Expand/Collapse Can you accommodate my special dietary needs?

      Please let us know any dietary restrictions in the 'Comments' section at check out. While we will try our best to satisfy any special dietary needs, we do not guarantee we will be able to do so, and ask that you let us know about those at least 24 hours prior to the tour.

      Failure to do this might result in not being able to accommodate your needs but will not warrant a refund.
