For security reasons, it is strictly forbidden to enter with large backpacks, bulky bags or luggage. Small backpacks and standard purses/bags are allowed but must be screened by metal detectors. They must be opened and visually inspected by the security.
It is recommended to wear comfortable, closed toe shoes.
Our tours go rain or shine, and we encourage all guests to consult the weather forecast and plan your dress accordingly. In the summer months, please prepare for the heat by bringing/wearing adequate sun protection, and staying hydrated. Even if you are accustomed to high temperatures, air-conditioning is not always available in Italy.
For safety reasons, the Colosseum can only hold up to 3.000 people at a time, so there could be delays in accessing the site, even for pre-reserved priority tickets, if the maximize capacity is reached at the time of our reserved entry.
