Is there a dress code for the religious sites on tour?
Yes, sites on this itinerary include holy places, and attire must be appropriate for the visit. Both men and women are asked to wear clothing that covers at least the shoulders and knees. Fat Tire Tours cannot be held responsible for denied entry due to improper dress. It is sufficient to bring extra coverings with you and put them on before our entrance to the holy areas.
I am claustrophobic, will I be okay on this tour?
Visiting the Catacombs is not advised to anyone suffering from cardiac or respiratory weakness or tendencies of claustrophobia.
Can I take photos during the tour?
Photography is not allowed inside the sites visited on this tour due to their religious nature.
Is this tour appropriate for children?
All ebikes riders must be at least 14 years of age, as required by law in Italy. Please note the nature of this tour features real human remains, spooky stories, and involves walking through compact, dark spaces. We are also unable to accommodate strollers on this tour.

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate guests with mobility impairments, wheelchairs or strollers on this tour.

Our tours run rain or shine, and we have rain ponchos available in our office. We encourage all guests to consult the weather forecast and plan your dress accordingly.
In the summer months, please prepare for the heat by bringing/wearing adequate sun protection, and staying hydrated. Even if you are accustomed to high temperatures, air-conditioning is not always available in Italy.

The tour meeting time is 15 minutes prior to the start time. No refunds or re-bookings can be provided for late arrivals or no-shows after tour commencement or departure.

What is your cancellation policy?
Due to the nature of guide scheduling for private tours, cancellations or rescheduling requests must be done at least 7 days in advance of the activity start time to be eligible for a full refund. Reschedulings are subject to availability and fare difference may apply.
