Berlin is great for bikes!  For those wishing to explore the German capital on your own, Fat Tire has the right bike for you!  Reserving your bike online is quick and easy- Just select your rental day and number of bikes and you are on your way!  Our online Bike Rentals are for single day rentals, but it's no problem to extend your rental in our shop either when you pick up your bike or return.

Renting online is the only way to reserve your rental bike in advance.  Don't be caught without a bike-reserve yours today!

There are many reasons it pays to rent from your friends at Fat Tire 

  • Our comfortable cruisers and city bikes are perfect for seeing Berlin's sights by bike. All our cruisers and city bikes have 3 gears - all you need in this super-flat city - and are internal Shimano Nexus-gear hubs so they always work properly. Our bikes have very comfortable seats, luggage racks, lights, chain guards, fenders, and of course fat tires (for a soft ride and so that you don't fall into tram tracks).
  • Our trekking bikes are great for longer rides inside and outside Berlin. Each of our trekking bikes has a 7-speed Shimano Nexus gear shift with an ergonomic grip.
  • We have a central location that makes getting to us easy and fast.  With our cruiser and city bikes, you can do a one-way rental, should you prefer to pick up your bike on one shop, and return it in the other.
  • We provide free maps, locks, and helmets, should you want them!
  • We accept credit cards in our shop and online.
  • Biking with kids?  It's easy!  Just start your booking with our Adult Cruiser/City Bikes, and then let us know in the comments the kid's equipment you'd like.  We have tag-alongs and kids' seats, both subject to availability.  Kid's equipment can be paid for in our shop once you have collected your bikes.
  • Need saddle bags? It's easy too! Just start your booking with our Trekking Bike Rentals, and after you choose the dates, you can pick the times you want to have the saddle bags.
  • Our friendly staff is always eager to help with recommendations, and advice on how to make the most of exploring Berlin on bike.
