Berlin is a BIG city and sometimes it can be a little overwhelming where to start. So many choices, such little time. Where to eat, where to drink, where to sleep and where to party? I have compiled a list of the best places (according to us!) on where to eat and drink once our tours have finished.
Where to Drink in Friedrichshain
Dachkammer
This is a typical Friedrichshain bar. It’s always packed, has a cool retro interior, numerous maze like rooms, a great selection of music and a fantastic cocktail menu. Come here to meet locals and tourists alike. It is located on the popular Simon-Dach-Strasse.

Primitiv
The perfect bar to go to get your night rolling, this place is always packed with a young, hip crowd. The prices are low (glass of wine: € 2), the atmosphere is often loud, there is a DJ playing at the back and it’s the best place to meet other like-minded folk before headed out to one of Berlins famous nightclubs.

Hops and Barley
You’ve heard the Germans are great at making beer? Its true! Head to this neighborhood brewery and try some of its finest locally handcrafted beer. This place even makes its own cider, which is almost impossible to find in Berlin. They have a great atmosphere, a cool tiled interior, plenty of outside seating and an ever-changing selection of homemade beer. The bar is perfectly located next door to Spatzle and Knodel so it’s easy to fall from one in to the other. If you find yourself still seating there drinking their tasty beer to well past bed time, fear not, they even have places to stay above the brewery!
