  • This tour includes a full lunch. If you have any dietary requirements please let us know in the Comments section at checkout, and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.
  • Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate guests with mobility impairments, wheelchairs or strollers on this tour.
  • Please note that the Cathedral of Siena is closed on Sundays during our visiting time and subject to closure during special celebrations/festivities, including the Easter ceremonies. If this occurs during your visit, we will run an alternative itinerary that includes an explanation of the Cathedral from the outside.
  • Siena Cathedral is a holy place and attire must be appropriate for the visit. Both men and women are asked to wear clothing that covers at least the shoulders and knees. We cannot be held responsible for denied entry due to improper dress.
  • Luggage and strollers are not allowed on this tour as there is no extra storage space in the vehicle.
  • In order to get into the city center, we utilize small luxury minivans. This allows us to avoid the parking lots outside of the center requiring us to walk. Your guide may need to split time between vehicles on groups larger than 8.
  • Tickets for the Siena Cathedral are not included in the tour price. If you wish to visit the Cathedral, your guide will assist you. The Cathedral is closed on Sundays and for certain holy days.

This tour meets in Piazza San Marco. Meet by the statue in the middle of the square. Piazza San Marco is a centrally-located square adjacent to Via degli Arazzieri and Via Giorgio la Pira, about 1/3 mile north of Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral

We do not have the luxury of waiting for guests, and no refunds can be provided for late arrivals after tour departure.

Where is the meeting point?

Is lunch included with this tour?

Yes! This tour includes a full lunch at a stunning Tuscan farm house and vineyard.

If you have any dietary requirements please let us know in the Comments section at checkout, and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.

What time do I need to get there for my tour?

We ask that all guests arrive 10-15 minutes early for the scheduled tour.

This gives us time to get all of our guests checked-in, fitted correctly for bikes, and a chance to get comfortable on your bike before we take off.

What is your weather policy? What if it rains?

Our tours run rain or shine, and we have rain ponchos available in our office. We encourage all guests to consult the weather forecast and plan your dress accordingly.

In the summer months, please prepare for the heat by bringing/wearing adequate sun protection, and staying hydrated. Even if you are accustomed to high temperatures, air-conditioning is not always available in Italy.

Are reservations required?

Yes, reservations are required for all tours.

What is your cancellation policy?

Activities including tickets or special entrances, such as this one, may only be rescheduled for free up to 72 hours in advance. These activities are also only refundable more than 72 hours in advance of the activity start time. Within 72 hours, we will only be able to issue a partial refund or future credit.

Is this tour appropriate for children?

Absolutely! This tour is a great overview of the beauty of Tuscany for all ages. However, the visit to the Chianti vineyards and lunch do include lots of wine-related content as well as wine pairings during lunch, and the legal drinking age in Italy is 16 years old.  However anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult on our tours.
