How do I get to London from the airport?

Directions to our office

Although there are several airports in the London area, the two main ones are Heathrow and Gatwick.

Directions from Heathrow

Train: The easiest way to travel from Heathrow to our office is to take the Heathrow Express train to Paddington Station. These trains depart every 15 minutes between 5am and midnight and the journey time takes between 15 and 25 minutes depending on which terminal you are travelling from. Heathrow Express tickets are usually cheaper if booked online and can be as little as £5.50 each way. Once you arrive at Paddington you should take the Elizabeth line one stop to Bond Street (look for the direction of Abbey Wood or Shenfield; going east). At Bond Street, change to the Jubilee line three stops (south, in the direction of Stratford) and get off at Waterloo station. At Waterloo station, look for exit two. After exiting, turn left, then take the first left and you will see our office at 135 Mepham Street.

Underground: It is possible to take the Underground from Heathrow into the city. The Piccadilly Line runs from all Heathrow Terminals. In order to reach our meeting point you would need to take the Piccadilly Line to Green Park then change and travel two stops on the Jubilee Line to Waterloo Station. At Waterloo station, look for exit two. After exiting, turn left, then take the first left and you will see our office at 135 Mepham Street. Although you can buy day tickets for the Underground, it is easier to either purchase an Oyster Card which can be topped up for travel at any station, or you can tap in and out with any credit or debit card that has the contactless feature. There is a daily cap on the amount you can spend on Oyster and contactless cards, so a trip from the airport and around London will not cost you more than £13.50 a day. This method of travel would take roughly 1 hour.

Coach: It is possible to get a coach from Heathrow into central London. There are many coach services that operate, but to get to our meeting point you would need to get a coach travelling to Victoria Coach Station.  This journey can cot as little as £6 and take as little as 45 minutes, although this is traffic dependent. Once you arrive at Victoria Coach Station you should follow the signs to The Underground and then take the District Line two stops to Westminster. You will then have to change onto the Jubilee line and travel one stop to Waterloo Station. Once you arrive at Waterloo, exit the station via Exit two, turn left and take the first left onto Mepham Street.

Taxi: Taxis are readily available at Heathrow, with traditional Black Cabs, Mini Cabs and Uber all available. This is always the most expensive option and is at least a 50 minute journey.

If you are taking a taxi to our office you should have them drop you off at 135 Mepham Street.

Directions from Gatwick

Train: As Gatwick is not on an Underground Line you would have to take the train from Gatwick into the city if this was your preferred method of travel. Although there are multiple stopping services between Gatwick and London, the most direct and quickest rout is to take The Gatwick Express to London Victoria Station. These trains run from around 05:30am until 11pm and the journey time is around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Victoria Station you should follow the signs to The Underground and then take the Circle Line or District line one stop to Westminster where you’ll change to the Jubilee line. Then take that one stop to Waterloo station. At Waterloo station, look for exit two. After exiting, turn left, then take the first left and you will see our office at 135 Mepham Street. When booked in advance, The Gatwick Express can cost as little as £18:50.

Coach: There are multiple coach services from Gatwick into London from as little as £10. Most of these have the final destination of Victoria Coach Station and take around 2 hours and 10 minutes.

Taxi: Taxis are readily available at Gatwick with traditional Black Cabs, Mini Cabs and Uber all available. This is always the most expensive option and is at least a 1 hour 30 minutes journey.

If you are taking a taxi to our office you should have them drop you off directly at 135 Mepham Street.
