It is sufficient to bring along a light scarf or cardigan and put them on prior to entering the holy areas. All guests are also required to remove hats and sunglasses when inside the Duomo. Do we take stairs up to the Duomo rooftop terrace?

No, this tour takes an elevator to the rooftop terrace of the Duomo. Please note there is no skip the line option for this portion of the tour.

Can I bring my bag/backpack inside the Cathedral?

Bulky bags, large backpacks, and luggage are not allowed inside the Cathedral.

Is there a dress code inside the Milan Cathedral (Duomo)?
