"This tour was such a great opportunity to see and learn about some of the lesser-known parts of Paris.
We got to bike along the Canal St. Martin and see several amazing overlooks of the city!"

Experience Paris like a local.

View Paris through a local's eyes with this exclusive bike tour! We'll start our morning near a popular métro stop that joins the eclectic 10th district with the trendy 19th district. After picking up our bikes, we'll cycle along the canal where we might witness a pétanque game in action or new street art being made in the moment. We'll continue to Buttes Chaumont Park where we'll enjoy a stroll around the waterfall and suspension bridge.

Next, it's on to the highest natural point in Paris, Belleville Park. You'll have a breathtaking view of the city and a chance to see how Parisian truly live. Continuing through the bustling neighborhood, we'll enter Place de la République, a popular meeting area for social movements, skaters, and musicians. Finally, we'll enjoy a break at a local park where you can pick up a craft beer or natural wine at a speciality shop.

This tour is recommended for confident riders as there are a few hills involved, and more riding in the road than our Paris Day Bike Tour. We can accommodate some children on this tour, but we prefer that they be steady on a bike and 9+ years old (see our bike sizes here).  Be sure to book in advance if you'd like to reserve a kid's bike!

While all of our tours maintain a leisurely pace, we want our guests to have fun and be safe, so being able to ride a bike is paramount.

Our Off the Beaten Path Bike Tour is perfect for intermediate-athletic bike riders. You should have good balance, be able to start and stop comfortably, and be familiar with hand brakes. Much of this tour is uphill and on roads, so we ask that all guests feel confident with their riding ability. Safety is our number one priority but confidence in yourself is the first step to overall group safety.

If you're not sure how you'll fare, we invite you to try our Paris Night Bike tour first.

  • Expand/Collapse How does this tour compare to the Paris Day Bike Tour ?

The Paris Day Bike Tour is where you'll get the most information about Paris and see the major sites such as the Eiffel Tower from the Champ de Mars, the Louvre, Place da la Concorde, and more. We hear one of two comments most often after the Paris Day Bike Tour. Either, "Wow, I'm so glad I took this because now I know what I'm going to do the next few days while I'm in the city" or we hear, "I can't believe I'm leaving tonight because there's so much more in Paris that I didn't know about and I've missed it all."

Our Local Paris Bike Tour explores a completely different part of Paris than our standard Day Bike Tour, and we have customers who take multiple tours during their time in Paris. We guarantee you will have a completely unique experience on each tour! This tour is recommended for confident riders as there are a few hills involved, and more riding in the road than our Paris Day Bike Tour.

  • Expand/Collapse What is the number to call if I am lost and trying to find the meeting point?

If you are having difficulty finding the meeting location for your tour, please call us at +33.1.85.08.19.76 and our staff will be happy to help you find your way.

We operate this tour in groups of 15 people.

  • Expand/Collapse Can I book a Private Tour for this route?

No, reservations are not required for this tour, but recommended if you would like to be sure to secure a spot. Walk-up guests will be accommodated based on bike and tour guide availability.

We highly suggest booking in advance if you require children's bicycles.
