Our Berlin City Bike Tour has become famous as one of the top ways to discover the best of Berlin. Booking as a Private Tour gives you the extra flexibility and exclusivity to make sure this highlight-packed tour fits seamlessly into your time in Berlin. Your group will enjoy touring with your own private guide at convenient times for you, making this the perfect tour option for families, friends groups and parties, and groups of all sizes.
This tour is the perfect way to check all of the main sites off your list while exploring the city in a unique and fun way. We have plenty of time on this tour to dive deep into the history of Berlin, including the emergence of the Berlin Wall, WWII, Hitler's rise to power, the Jewish community before and after the war, and plenty of other fascinating topics. The backdrop of beautiful Berlin, from the Reichstag to the Tiergarten, make for the perfect classroom.
Reserving a private guide just for your group is easy! You can let us know in the comments if you're visiting Berlin for a big occasion or a celebration, or if you're just wanting more flexibility with your tour start times and what we see. We'll pair you with a guide that will be a great fit for your group, be it a birthday vacation, a wedding, or a family reunion. We've structured this tour so that you can see all of the same sights as our regular Berlin City Bike Tour, but if you want to omit certain stops or add others, just let us know in advance, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request!
All private tours depart from our shop, which makes it easy for us to fit you and your group for bikes, and it allows for us to see a wide variety of sites given its central location. When you arrive, you will be greeted by your private guide who will have your bikes prepared and ready for your tour. Not only will you each enjoy our normal shop services before and after your tour, but you will also enjoy complimentary bottles of water to take on tour, as well as free ponchos should it rain. After your private tour, you will also be able to enjoy your bikes for the remainder of the day at no extra charge.
And of course, on tour you will enjoy the experienced leadership of our attentive and entertaining guides. We pride ourselves on a superlative level of personal attention, and look forward to welcoming you on tour!
Private tours meet at our Alexanderplatz shop, located at the base of the giant TV Tower (Fernsehturm). The address is Panoramastraße 1a, 10178 Berlin.

Due to the nature of guide scheduling for private tours, cancellations or rescheduling requests must be done at least 7 days in advance of the activity start time to be eligible for a full refund. Reschedulings are subject to availability and fare difference may apply.
No- the bike is included with the bike tour, so just bring yourself and we will take care of the rest!
Yes, we will make a stop for lunch during the tour. Please remember that the cost of food is not included in the tour price, so make sure to have some cash with you.
Our tours are great options for families and kids are very welcome, but please note that this is a long day. We have several types of kids’ bikes, seats, and helmets to make sure everyone of all sizes is comfortable on tour. You know your kids best, so if you think they'll enjoy 6 hours of biking and touring, then we're keen to have them join us!
Don’t worry, it’s just like riding a bike! Our tours move at a very comfortable pace so don’t worry if you are a bit rusty. If you are worried about being comfortable on the bike, feel free to stop by the shop a bit early and you can take a few practice laps.
The tour will still run in case of rain. We try our best to take cover but sometimes we are exposed to the elements. We have pocket-sized rain ponchos that we provide for free to all of our private tour guests.
We cannot enter the monuments because German Law restricts museum guides to their authorized officials. Plus, some people would want to spend only ten minutes in the museum while others would prefer 3 hours.
Our private tour guests benefit from free bike rentals for the remainder of the day following the tour. Our staff will be happy to show you exactly how to go back to any sites you would like to explore further or visit the interior.
Of course! In fact, our tours make great compliments for each other. If you want to include a specific site on this tour that's not mentioned in the description, or if you're curious about package deals, just reach out to us at [email protected]
