Yes. We have kids bikes, tag-alongs and baby seats. Please make a reservation online if you have children in your group and let us know how many are with you, and their ages, in the NOTES section of your reservation - this way we can make sure we have the right sized bikes set aside for everyone in your group.

Absolutely! We have loads of families and we're a great family activity. We offer multiple bike options for children depending on their age, size, and riding ability. Please keep in mind that children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult on the tour.

    • For children up to 12 years old or 45kg (100lbs) without good bike handling skills we offer 2-wheeled tandems that allow the passenger to pedal or coast, without having to maintain a high level of balance. All riders over 45kg (100lbs) must ride their own bicycle. We have various sized city bikes to accommodate just about every size of rider, from extra small 20 inch wheeled bikes for riders that are 3.3ft (100cm) to extra large for riders up to 6.5ft (198cm). Unfortunately, we do not have adult tricycles, adult tandems, or bikes with training wheels for adults or children that may be less confident in their riding ability.
    • There is no additional charge for trailers, tandems or baby seats. Due to limited availability, please book baby seats, trailers, tandems, 20” and 24” wheeled bikes in advance.
    • Please Note: All extra small 20 inch and small 24 inch bikes are equipped with both hand brakes.

Royal London Bike Tour Reviews

Royal London Bike Tour - 11AM is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 348.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent way to see key areas of London My husband, 3 year old son and I went on the tour recently, and it was fantastic. Mike was a brilliant guide, very knowledgable and easy going, and he made sure that we got the most out of the tour while still juggling the demands of a toddler. We would highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting London

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best way to see the city Biking London was our favorite way to see the city. I've been to London many times, but this was my first time taking a bike tour. It is much more impressive of a city when you bike it versus when you only take the underground. Our Tour guide was awesome and able to answer all of our questions. This bike tour needs to go on your "must do" list!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Bike Ride with Matt! My beau and I took the ride in October 2017. Matt was really knowledgeable and the ride was easy. Considering it was like herding cats, he did a fabulous job. He was a great story teller too. We are glad we did the tour. Thanks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A very lively Tour Guide Good tour overall, loved the different voices the tour guide provided for the different characters. I would ask for more bungee cords as they ran out of them on my tour but other than that it was a good trip.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost excellent The tour was fun, the guide was good, the bikes were not so good. Both my wife and I had mechanical issues with our bikes. The guide did well solving them as we stopped.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best way to explore London! We had a blast. If you're active this is a casual bike ride. If you're not active this is still doable and tons of fun. You see the sites, can take photos, learn about the city and meet other travelers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy ride with a great overall tour of London This was our second tour with Fat Tire. Paul, our guide, was informative, friendly and humorous. Our group was small which made for much easier navigation around London. Our only complaint was that we were only allowed just under 30 minutes for lunch which is nearly impossible in London. Needless to say a pint of beer and off we went. Nonetheless this is a great way to see a lot of and become familiar with London.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic family activity I did the royal london bike tour with my husband, our two daughters (3 & 5) and my sister-in-law on our first full day in London. It was a great way to introduce the city to our girls. The tag along bikes worked a treat. Everyone had a fantastic time. Our guide Gerard did a great job of engaging with our girls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great overview of London and it's gems! Dominic did a great job, with great information and an iteresting route that took us by Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and other sites. A great way to get a feel for the city before diving in more deeply to the areas you want to visit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for first timers to London The day in the park is what this should be called. We hardly rode through London just one massive park with a lunch break in the middle that was long enough for a sandwich.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Tour. Got to see and learn so much. I had wandered around some of the places we went on the tour earlier in the day, but seeing them with a guide and hearing all the stories made them much more memorable. Bike tour was nice to get a good feel for the layout of the city.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic way to see London! Having taken the Fat Tyre bike tour in Paris, I really wanted to try out the London tour. I'd highly recommend this tour for several reasons: -If you have a short time in the city and want to learn the most and see the most you can. -If you want a good intro to all you can see in the city. The tour gives you great ideas for which places you'd like to visit later. -If you like the idea of biking through St. James & Hyde Park. -If you want to see more than you could on a walking tour. Our whole group loved it. The tour guides on these tours always have some kind of great accent, fantastic knowledge of the sites, and some cheeky story to share that you wouldn't otherwise learn!
