Your tour of one of th emost beautiful neighborhoods in D.C. begins at one of the most visited buildings in the entire metropolitan area: Union Station. As we stroll towards Capitol Hill, you'll soak in all of the monuments dotted along the route while hearing interesting anecdotes and stores from your tour guide. We'll take a stop at the Supreme Court and go inside the stunning Library of Congress Jefferson Building which has some of the most beautiful interior architecture in the entire country.
Afterwards, we'll cross the street and go inside the United States Capitol Building. Your tour includes reserved access so once we are past security you don't have to worry about waiting in a long line. One of the expert Capitol employees will then take you through the building with a docent-led tour of this historic heart of the United States history and government.

This walking tour does include Reserved Access entrance into the US Capitol Building and does go inside the Library of Congress. During the walking tour, we take the time to stop at major monuments so you can take photos as well as hear fascinating stories from our expert guides.

We welcome all ages on this tour, but please note that the majority of the 2.5 hour duration is spent on our feet! Some stories told on tour deal with real life crime, assassinations and scandals which may be inappropriate for younger children.
All scheduled tours are in English, but private tours can occasionally be scheduled in other languages, given we have a tour guide who speaks the language of your choice.
Your tour will start promptly at the scheduled time, therefore please arrive 15 to 20 minutes prior to tour departure time. Late arrivals may not be able to get caught up to a tour that has already departed.
