Interactive Paris Tour de France Route Bike Tour

Get up early and join our Paris Bike Tour on the final day of the Tour de France. Ride the nearly empty streets as our guides lead you along the infamous cobblestone roads of the last leg of the 3-week trek. We will begin at our office, 24 rue Edgar Faure, and head directly to the Champs Elysée where you can experience the excitement of the final day. Experience the streets while the last touches of the closing ceremonies are being set up just near the Eiffel Tower at our office with coffee and croissants. Our staff will provide you with a few optional itineraries for the rest of your day and clue you in about the best viewing spots for later in the evening.

FAQ

  • Expand/Collapse Where is the meeting point?

Your tour meets at our office located at 24, rue Edgar Faure, 75015 Paris. The closest Métro station is Dupleix (line 6).

  • Expand/Collapse Is there a stop for food?

We do stop at the end of the tour in the Champ de Mars for coffee, orange juice and croissants to celebrate this occasion in Paris!

  • Expand/Collapse What cycling skill level do I need for this tour?

While all of our tours maintain a leisurely pace, we want our guests to have fun and be safe, so being able to ride a bike is paramount.

Our Tour de France Bike Ride will not be going at the speed of the official Tour de France! This ride is perfect for intermediate-athletic bike riders. You should have good balance, be able to start and stop comfortably, and be familiar with hand brakes. Nearly all of this tour is on roads although we set out early to avoid heavy traffic. We'll stick together up the Champs Elysée and carve out a lane for ourselves, so we ask that all guests feel confident with their riding ability. Safety is our number one priority but confidence in yourself is the first step to overall group safety.

If you're not sure how you'll fare, we invite you to try our Paris Night Bike Tour first.

  • Expand/Collapse Is this tour appropriate for children, and if so, what are your bike options?

Yes! Our Tour de France Bike Ride is a wonderful way for kids comfortable on bikes to discover Paris. We only ask that your children have been riding for a while, or, if they're under 12, you can reserve a tandem for them.

You can use this bike chart to help you reserve the appropriate bicycles for your little ones. Please keep in mind that children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult on the tour.

    • For children under 18 months of age or 20kg (45lbs), we have baby seats that attach to the back of an adult bike.
    • For children weighing up to 30kg (65lbs), we have toddler-trailers that can be left open or zipped up to fully enclose the passenger(s).
    • For children up to 12 years old or 45kg (100lbs), we have 2-wheeled tag-along tandems. The passenger sits on a seat and can pedal or coast. All riders over 45kg (100lbs) must ride their own bicycle.
    • For children who are able to ride their own bikes, we have several 20" and 24" available at our office. When booking online, be sure to select all members of your party (2 adults, 2 children, for example) and then select additional equipment if necessary. We cannot guarantee that we will have our smaller bikes available for those without a reservation.
  • Expand/Collapse Is a helmet included?

Yes! Helmets are optional, but we have sizes for all ages available in our office.

  • Expand/Collapse Can we buy water at your office?

Yes! All of our bikes come equipped with luggage racks so that you can take it with you on tour without having to hold onto it.

  • Expand/Collapse Is this tour offered in any other languages or only English?

All regular tours are in English, but private tours can be scheduled in other languages.

  • Expand/Collapse Can I leave the tour early?

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate special requests like this on our public tours.  This tour is 2 ours and once you begin, we ask that you stay with the tour guide and the group until the end.  If you're interested in something shorter, please inquire about a private tour.

  • Expand/Collapse What is your cancellation policy?

We are happy to offer full refunds for our Tour de France Bike Tour if the reservation is cancelled more than 72 hours (3 days) before the scheduled tour. Bookings of 10 or more passengers require seven days notice for cancellations.

Due to this tour being offered one day a year, this tour is not eligible to be rescheduled.

  • Expand/Collapse Are the tours cancelled if it rains?

No, our tours run rain or shine, and we have rain ponchos available in our office for anyone that needs them. They are only €1 and we will gladly buy them back from you if they are not used during your tour. We encourage all guests to consult the weather forecast and plan your dress accordingly.
