By selecting a date and time, you are requesting a private tour. You will receive a confirmation or rejection of your reservation request based on ticket and guide availability.
Please note that the tour meeting time is 10 minutes prior to the start time. No refunds or re-bookings can be provided for late arrivals as we organize your tickets with specific timed entries.
Please ensure that all members of your party have a valid ID. This is particularly important for guests who qualify for a student or child discount.
As with all museums, some galleries of the Musée d’Orsay may be closed without prior notice. In this case, your guide will make an appropriate substitution.
To ensure the safety of visitors, French authorities enforce security measures upon entry to the Musée d’Orsay. Suitcases, luggage, and larger bags are not allowed inside. Please accept our apologies for any delay or inconvenience caused by extra security checks.
Unfortunately, some of the rooms in the Musée d’Orsay are not wheelchair accessible. For a wheelchair-friendly alternative tour, please contact customer service.

The closest métro is Solferino (line 12) – Use the exit marked “Sortie 2 – rue de Bellechasse”, then follow the brown signs for the Musée d’Orsay (you will be walking in the same direction as the traffic as it’s a one-way street) on rue de Bellechasse. You may also take the RER C train to the Musée d’Orsay station.

Private tours are priced according to group size rather than group dynamic, as we secure skip-the-line tickets for your group in advance, and schedule a private, accredited guide just for your party.

Does our ticket include temporary exhibitions?

Your ticket includes access to the permanent collection. Any temporary exhibits (that require an additional fee) are not included, so they must be purchased separately (at the museum or directly through the museum’s website).

Is this tour wheelchair or stroller accessible?

We will do our best to accommodate your private party and any mobility restrictions. Please, however, contact us in advance so that we can allow for extra time entering the museum and visiting the various exhibits.

How long before my tour should I arrive?

The tour meeting time is 10 minutes prior to the start time. No refunds or re-bookings can be provided for late arrivals or no-shows after tour commencement or departure.

What is your cancellation policy?

Once you reserve this tour, Fat Tire Tours will secure your non-refundable timed-entry ticket to the museum. We are happy to offer refunds for the cost of your tour minus the cost of tickets should you need to cancel more than 14 days prior to the scheduled tour.

Inside of 14 days, we will do our best to reschedule your tour based on the availability of tickets and our guides. Once we are within 72 hours of the scheduled tour, we are unable to make any modifications to your tour and we do not offer any refunds.
