Flora moved to Berlin from Copenhagen in late 2012 after only visiting the city a few times. Moving here was a spontaneous decision, but it was love at first sight and she never looked back. Flora has lived in three different districts in Berlin, so she is even familiar with the western part of the city that most expats only know in theory! Her hobbies include photography, writing, plant based foods, and giving directions, so knowing a city and its transportation system is very important to her.
Favorite Berlin attraction: The Soviet Memorial in Treptower Park
Berlin in three words: Evolving, Accepting, Fun.
Favorite time of year in Berlin: Spring - the city wakes up from its winter slumber, and so does Flora's balcony.
Don't leave Berlin without... exploring the city by bike, and checking out the nightlife!
Amy moved to Chicago two years ago for her corporate marketing job, where she fell in love with the city (but quickly left that job). Her biggest passion in life is food, and Chicago is the perfect place to experience it. Not only is it a multicultural hub for global cuisine, there is always something interesting going on. With so much to see and eat in the city, you will always find her either taking pictures or shoving food into her mouth.

Originally from Finland, Kia moved to Nürnberg, Germany in 2013 and has since fallen in love with the Bavarian lifestyle and scenery. Munich has been her home since 2016 where she feels like she is living in a fairytale village whilst still having all the perks of a big metropolitan city that Munich is. In her free time Kia loves to go for a jog by the Isar river, people watch at a café at Gärtnerplatz, go for a hike or snowboarding to the nearby mountains or simply meeting up with friends at a hip restaurant in Maxvorstadt. When she is not sharing the beauty that Munich has to offer at Fat Tire Tours, she is running her own natural cosmetics start-up and creating content for her YouTube channel.
Favorite Munich attraction: Nymphenburg Palace
Munich in three words: Cosmopolitan, Traditional, Elegant.
Favorite time of year in Munich: Summer, because of the endless possibilities you can do including hiking at the nearby mountains, enjoying a drink at one of the many rooftop bars and soaking in the chill vibes at the Isar river.
Don't leave Munich without... having a maß (1 litre of beer) and a pretzel at one of the many world famous breweries.
Jenn is a magazine editor, journalist and creative director. Originally from coastal South Florida, she first fell in love with New Orleans after taking a French Quarter ghost tour in 2013. She couldn't get enough of the quaint houses, fascinating history and live music around every corner. A year later, she was packing up her boxes and making the move to Louisiana. She was officially pulled to the state for a job, but it was the food and culture that convinced her to stay. In her free time, you can usually find her decorating—and then redecorating—her apartment, jumping around at a concert or daydreaming about her next travel adventure.
Favorite New Orleans attraction: The Garden District. On summer nights, when the thick air smells like roses, wandering around admiring the stately houses feels like being in a fairy tale.
New Orleans in three words: Magical. One-of-a-kind. Alive.
Favorite time of year in New Orleans: The holidays. And the best thing about New Orleans is that the holiday season stretches from Halloween through Mardi Gras. All the houses start decorating for Halloween, swap the decor out for Christmas, and then tweak it slightly for Mardi Gras. It feels like there is a can't-miss event every weekend.
Don't leave New Orleans without... eating so much food you feel like your stomach is going to burst!
Crissa is our Marketing Director. She first joined Fat Tire Tours as office staff in 2010 and couldn't stay away from the "City of Light"! There are so many things to love about Paris but what Crissa loves most is that the city doesn't dissapoint. She loves the French lifestyle, explaining, "The French work to live, not the other way around. They have mastered the art of enjoying life, whether it is a long dinner, a great picnic, or a stroll through the park on a beautiful afternoon."
Favorite Paris attraction: Floating down the River Seine is one of the best ways to experience the city. You pass incredible sights such as the Eiffel Tower, Musée d'Orsay, Notre Dame, Alexander III Bridge, Pont Neuf, and more.

Ryan is a born and bred native of the Washington, D.C. area, working in the city as a brand manager and freelance photographer. He’s lived in a few of the world’s other historical cities like Philadelphia and Paris, but D.C. always seemed to call him home. While in undergrad at George Washington University just a few blocks from the White House, he became a tour guide for Fat Tire Tours, and his love for D.C. deepened even more. He enjoys sharing stories and details behind D.C.’s most historic sites, but his fire really gets going when he can give visitors a taste of the local D.C. life, which he finds doesn’t get the attention it deserves being overshadowed by the city’s loud and raucous political scene.
Favorite D.C. attraction: The Jefferson Memorial
D.C. in three words: Passion. Powerful. Picturesque.
Favorite time of year in D.C.: The fall is my favorite time of year in general, and Washington D.C. wears autumn like the most stylish model on a magazine cover. The way the vibrant fall foliage frames D.C.'s towering monuments and memorials is downright gorgeous. Not to mention how the leaves make D.C.'s side streets and town homes even more enjoyable to walk through.
Don't leave D.C. without... venturing to a neighborhood nowhere near the National Mall.
